A Note from Our Principal
Welcome to Springwater Trail High School!
Another school year is right around the corner! We are excited to expand our middle college program during the 16-17 school year and welcome a new program: ASPIRE. Students and families will learn more about ASPIRE at registration in August.
Our middle college students are busy this summer completing their first college course. I am so proud of the accomplishments of each and every one of our students this past school year! I am also excited to welcome a new group of Titans on August 28th. I can hardly wait for the school year to start!
Please do not hesitate to call or email if you have questions. Our office will officially open on August 8th but you can email or call me anytime. See you all soon!
Principal Ryan Blaszak
I am excited to join the wonderful Springwater Trail community! Prior to coming to STHS, I was the vice principal of Multnomah Education Service Districtís Helensview School for 7 years. The majority of my educational experience has been with students who thrive in non-traditional settings. I am passionate about creating engaging educational programs that ensure ALL students succeed while providing students with the necessary academic and life skills to reach their goals.
I feel fortunate and honored to have worked with the school districts of Multnomah County, the North Clackamas School District, the Oregon City School District, and the West-Linn Wilsonville School District. I have significant experience in curriculum development, educational equity, and school improvement and design.
My educational career began in 1998 as an educational assistant at MESDís Turnaround School. In 1999, I returned to school to get by teaching license. From 2000 Ė 2008, I worked as an alternative education teacher, special education teacher, and instructional consultant with MESD.
I look forward to working with the staff, students, families, and community members of the Gresham-Barlow School District!
